Solution
Launch and scale an entirely new group called The POD—designed to smash world-class creativity, Design Thinking and storytelling together with Accenture’s leading strategic and technological capabilities. By starting small and rapidly testing new ideas and processes, we grew an initial seed investment of $216K into $344M in new client revenues. From there, we quickly scaled across North America, standing up PODs in New York, Toronto, Chicago, San Francisco, Austin and Atlanta. Mark sat on the North American Leadership committee, overseeing over 70 Creative Directors, Designers, Copywriters, Strategists and Project Managers. He also developed POD branding, governance, rules of engagement and proprietary Design Thinking techniques.
